Jeff and I grew up about 300 yards from each other. I´d pass his house every day in the way to school. We played baseball together, then football, then I talked him into playing lacrosse. We were co-captains our senior year. Most of the time, we laughed. Hysterically-often at nothing, more often at each other. As too commonly happen, we lost touch after high school. I tried to connect on LinkedIn but, strangely, we never did. By sheer coincidence, I looked him up a month or two ago, saw what appeared to be a job change, and put off messaging him again...until later...until I had more time...until lacrosse season ends. I wish I had not waited. Every season, I tell my own lacrosse teams funny Jeff stories-his playing goalie but refusing to wear a up is a perennial favorite. I think the Jeff sort I tell next will be to never put off saying hello to a good friend. RIP

Tom, Judy, Michele and Kevin, I am so sorry to hear about Jeff´s way too early passing. As kids we had so much fun together! We saw each other just a few times a year but would pick up right where we left off. Jeff was a good friend and a great guy. Sending you all the strength, peace and comfort I can during this difficult time.

To entire Anastasi family : So very sorry for your loss ... I think I speak for a lot of Sweet Home alum when I say I remember Jeff as super nice & funny ; always a smile on his face . We kept in touch for maybe 6 years after HS, & I lastly recall running into him in the early 90´s. We laughed & reminisced over a beer. My thoughts & prayers are with all of you...

My deepest and most sincere condolences to Jeff's family and long time friends /
'Buddies'
I heard a poem today, and one verse stood out- 'For it matters not, how much we own,
The cars...the house...the cash.
What matters is how we live and love
And how we spend our dash'- I worked with Jeff for a little less than 3 years at Expeditors, he made me laugh many, many times. He cared about others, always making a point to 'check in' to see how i was doing. I'm very blessed to call him my friend. RIP, my friend. I will miss you.
