Waltraud Shephard

Waltraud "Omie" Shephard, 74, of Tuscaloosa, AL, died June 6, 2012, at DCH. Services were Sunday, June 10 at 2 p.m. at Taylorville Baptist Church with Dr. Curtis Kelley officiating. Burial followed at 4 p.m. at Friendship Cemetery in Columbus, MS. Magnolia Chapel South was in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Shephard was preceded in death by Earnest Hugh Shephard, Scheery Armstrong, Steven Alan Armstrong and Justin Armstrong. Survivors include her daughters, Dewy Levingston (Harold) of Weston, MO, Inge Archer (Richard) of Tuscaloosa, AL and Solitaire Shephard of Rice Lake, WI; sons, Garry Armstrong (Karen) of Osceola, AK, Danny Armstrong (Mary) of Hopkinsville, KY and Roy Shephard of Columbus, MS; sisters, Eva Parker and Inge Dungy; brother, Willie Bodman of Germany; grandchildren, Dereck (Mandy), Brian, Brandon, Shantell, Cory (Ashley), Nick, Arianna, Morgan, Kiersten, Santana, Matthew and Desiree; great-grandchildren, Trenton, Alex, Adalee, Makenzie, Faith and Bentlee. Pallbearers were Richard Archer, Harold Levingston, Garry Armstrong, Danny Armstrong and Roy Shephard. Honorary pallbearers were her grandchildren, the staff of DCH Home Health Care and Med South.
