Jeffrey Clum Obituary
57, of 572 Canal Street Newcomerstown, Ohio, died Monday, Aug. 29, 2011 at Union Hospital, Dover, Ohio. He was born Nov. 17, 1953 in Coshocton, Ohio, to the late Robert Clum and to Mary K. (Couts) Lawver of Newcomerstown. He was a 1973 Newcomerstown High School graduate. He formerly worked at J.V. Coin of Newcomerstown and worked at Village of Newcomerstown Cemetery Dept. He was a member of Masonic Lone Star Lodge #175 of Newcomerstown, Elks Lodge #1555 of Newcomerstown, and Scottish Rite of Cambridge, and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Valerie (Bouscher) Clum; one son, Charlie Clum of Cambridge; grandchildren, Conner, Cannon, and Michael Clum, and Alexis and Kaitlynn Shryock; a sister, Joann "Cookie" Schlarb of Newcomerstown; two step daughters, Julie Adams and husband, Charles of Athens, Lisa Patterson and husband, Corey of Mentor; a step son, Andy Wolff of Denver, Colo. He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Curt Lawver.
A Graveside Service will be Saturday, Sept. 10, 2011 at 11 a.m. in Plainfield Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church, 121 South College Street, Newcomerstown, Ohio 43832. Online condolences may be made at www.addyfuneralhome.com

In the last couple of months, I've had a few lengthy conversations with Jeff right in my backyard, and was just starting to know him better. He was always good for a laugh and a smile. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family.
