Jeffrey Grindle Obituary
Alan loved to camp and fish in the great outdoors. He passed peacefully under the stars in the Great Smoky Mountains near Cherokee, NC doing what he loved, camping and fishing.
He was a devoted father to his daughter Ashley Grindle. He loved to dote over her and took her shopping at her favorite thrift stores every Saturday.
He was preceded in death by his father Billly Grindle. He is survived by his mother Willie Grindle, sisters Brenda Marsh, Ann Baize, and Julie Foster, brother Joey Grindle, daughter Ashley Grindle, stepsons Raumsie Gaballa and Youssef Gaballa, and wife Sherry Lowrance.
The family will receive friends Friday, September 23rd from 11:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. the service will follow at 12:00 P.M. in the chapel of Lord and Stephens, 4355 Lexington Road in Athens.

I miss my big brother greatly. It's not fair that he was taken from us this soon. My heart breaks daily for our whole family. I wish that I'd told him how proud I was of him, but hoping that somehow he knew. Words can't express how much we will miss him and I hope that we will make him proud as well.
