"Jeff", "Howie"
Of Niagara, WI, passed away on Wed., May 10, 2023, at the age of 53, with his son Austin at his side in Green Bay, WI. He is the son of the late James C. Hoey and the late Marjorie E. (nee Berndt) Kraemer & stepdad Daniel Kraemer. Jeff attended Sabish Middle School and graduated from L.P. Goodrich High School, class of 1987, he also attended Bay de Noche University of Michigan, to become a Surgical Technician.
Jeff was always looking for an adventure. He fished for King Crabs in Alaska on the Bering Strait in the early 1990's. He moved back to Aurora, WI and did Roofing for Lakewood Roofing Company for 15 years, he had to retire after a serious back injury. Jeff enjoyed hunting and fishing with his son; using that Smoker of his to make a ton of meat, that he was always willing to share, and let's not forget about his garden and his 2AM canning of pickles. Most of all Jeff Loved his family, friends, and riding his Harley into the sunset.
Jeff is survived by his son Austin Hoey; sister Suzanne (Terry) Erdmann, nieces Alecia Erdmann, Rachelle (Fianc? Brett Baeten) Erdmann, and Makayla Erdmann; aunts & uncles Barbara (the late Roy) Seaton, Debra (Louie) Karschney, Mary Groesbeck, Janet Baguio, Michael (Cindy) Hoey, Patrick Hoey, the late Sandy (Jack) Warber, Richard (Rosie) Berndt, Donald (Mary Jo) Berndt, Gary (Debbie) Berndt, Bev (Jeff Andrews) Berndt, and Cathy (Al) Draves. He is further survived by many cousins, other relatives, and many, many close and caring friends. Jeff was preceded in death by his dad Jim and mom Margie, and both sets of grandparents.
A visitation will be held on Tues., May 16,2023, from 4:00PM until the time of the 7:00PM Memorial Prayer at the Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave. Fond du Lac. Burial will be held on Wed., May 17th at 11:30AM at St Charles Cemetery W4287 Golf Course Dr. In lieu of flowers memorials to the family would be appreciated.
