Jeffrey Kassner Obituary
Jeffrey Kassner of Boston, MA, died on Wednesday October 2, 2013 during a motorcycle accident. He was 35. Jeffrey was born on May 12, 1978 in New York City. Jeffrey is survived by his loving mother Marjorie Kassner, his brothers Andrew and Kenneth Kassner, his sister Robin Kassner, his sister-in-law Maureen Kassner and his nieces and nephews Ethan, Gillian, Adam, Joshua and Claudia Kassner. Jeffrey was passionate about dogs and had a dog named Bayla. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to the The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals www.aspca.org. A memorial service will be held on Sunday October 6 at 11:30 a.m. at Zion Memorial Chapel at 785 East Boston Post Road in Mamaroneck, New York.

I am saddened to just be learning of Jeff's passing only this morning. Jeff was a classmate of mine at Tilton and we became good friends during the one year I was there. Jeff taught me quite a bit when it comes to who I am today. He was an inspiration to my teenaged self and a lot of the qualities of my personality today I owe to Jeff. His carefree attitude in life at the time really rubbed off on me and even more than 20 years later it still sticks. I think of him often and have always wanted to reunite. So naturally, I am really sad and upset to find out that he is no longer with us. To Jeff's family I hope you have found solace over the past five years or so since his passing and my deepest sympathies go out to everyone who loves and cares about him.

As Jeffrey's older brother, I would like to passionately thank all the people who gave their condolences to Jeffery. On behalf of the entire family, including myself, my daughter Kelly (who also misses him dearly), and his band mates, I want to say how proud we all are for the great guy, hard worker and talented musician he was. You were as gentle as George Harrison.

To the Kassner Family,
Our deepest condolences goes out to everyone in the Kassner Family. The memories that our family of Jeffrey was that of a curly adorable boy who loved playing with his sister, Robin and my children. His smile was infectious to all he came in contact with from a child to an adult. I know our families have not really been in touch, but Jeffrey will always be in our hearts .
