I remember how you would iron a crease in your pants, you would press your pants 3 times till the crease was so sharp and the crease would stay all day....on the flip side I remember waking you up to go bowling and you would bowl holding the phone with one hand talking to a friend and bowling with the other in your pj´s....
20 years ago your spirt, soul left this world...and I imagine who you could have became....
So today I grieve and cry and wish.

19 years ago you left us....
Everyday you are in my thoughts and I remember the laughter and so much more.
I remember I would wake you up to go bowling with me and you would go in your pajamas and bowl with one hand holding your phone and the other the bowling ball....
I miss you so much.

Fourteen years ago...
We have missed fourteen years of laughter, pranks, conversations...
I remember when we went out to eat for your birthday and you brought a friend....you bet him that he couldn't eat all the chicken fried steak...it was huge. He counter bet that you couldn't either...the bet was who ever couldn't would be able to hit the loser in the arm....
Always a contest...
I remember a Christmas when I had bought your grandpa some baklava but put your name on the present...grandpa thanked you for the baklava and you replied what's baklava?....we all laughed....
But, I remember the drawing you made for grandma....I was so proud of you and so was she....
Fourteen long years and I still think of you and cry for your life that was lost...
Miss you my boy.....

I remember....
You bouncing in your crib so excited to get up...
I remember
The Christmas you got a gobot command center, you were so excited you didn't open your other gifts for days...you literally shook with happiness...
I remember...
You and David always in trouble on Wednesday trash day...digging through trash for treasure.
I remember...
Minnesota...you building card houses that were amazing, playing hide and seek...the time you found a baby snapping turtle and had to find its momma...we took it to the lakes edge, you were so worried....
I remember...
getting you up to go bowling with me....you'd go in your pajamas....
I remember....
Your 21st birthday, a full size cardboard cut out of the Rock....how much you laughed....
Every day I look to the sky and wonder what your life would have been like if you'd of lived....I wonder if you are in a alternate world with your dad, and grandparents....fishing, laughing...watching over us...
My son, I will always remember the good times....
I miss you

My lost love-I found out around my birthday last year what happened. I miss you so much! THere is not a day that goes by that I don't think about you! You were my first love and I will NEVER forget you. Every time I see THE SIMPSONS or THE ROCK I think of all of the good times we had. No one could make me laugh the way you could. I wish I could have been there. The last time I saw you was Christmas 2001. I am sorry when you called I never came those many years ago. I always wonder what happened to us and what if. I will ALWAYS LOVE YOU!

Jeff my sweet heart I miss u so much!Everyday that passes without you seems to get harder instead of easier. I am just sitting here listening to a song that is just breaking my heart, you're absence has left such a hole in my heart I feel like I will never be complete. So as I sit here writing my feelings in this book I hope you know how much I love you, the pain is so bad.
I know you are u a better place but more than anything I want you here with me. I will never let your memory die. The Jeff Kegley I meet on the first day of high school in 1995 will always be the person I knew. When we graduated you told me to never say good bye because there were no good byes between us, and now I see after a year I don't have to say good bye I just have to let you go for awhile. I miss you so dearly. My heart is with you Becky, Dave and Scott just know that, and how hard it is for me to see you all. I LOVE YOU GUYS

Jeff, I'm still having a hard time realizing you aren't here anymore, but day by day the impact you had on my life is becoming more clear. I miss you so much, my friend. It seems like just the other night we were having drinks talking about how we would be doing the same thing together when we're 70. I know you'll still be there with me. I can't explain what your friendship meant to me and I will carry your memory with me always. I love you Jeff and I can't wait to see you again.

I was dismayed to receive the news. Your personality was magnetic. You always had something witty and captivating to say. I’m sorry we haven’t spoken much since high school, but you are one who has undeniably left a mark, and one who is unforgettable. You are in a sacred place now, and the memory will go on forever.
God Bless your soul as well as your mournful family. May the future bring them tranquility and peace.
All my love!

To Jeff’s Family, and his close friends, I’d like to extend my sincere and deepest condolences, for the tragic loss of your son, your brother and our friend, Jeff. Jeff and I shared a lot of fond memories that I will never forget, I remember seeing him at Fridays Just before I left back here to Iraq. He bought me a shot to wish me farewell and a safe return home, I would have never thought that farewell would mean goodbye forever. I wish I could have been there to say goodbye to my friend, and wish him a farewell, just as he did me, as he makes his journey home with God. The heartache and pain of Jeff’s passing has sailed through the winds and trickled its way all the way to Iraq.
For Jeff, I’d like to thank you brother for all the good times, your memory will be engraved in my heart and mind forever. Your character and wit is irreplaceable, you will be missed by many and you’ll never be forgotten. May you rest in peace Jeff.
Respectfully written by,
Andres Sanchez

Jeff- you were an amazing person; charismatic, intelligent, and funny.I was fortunate enough to meet you, but only knew you for around 6 months. But every time I was around you I had a good time because you brought that energy everywhere you went. You were thoughtful and kind to everyone you met, and the world needs more people like you.I know alot of people will miss you and my prayers are with your family. Thank you for sharing some of your dreams and great stories with me, you were a great friend to have and you taught me alot without even knowing it.I just hope you realize the effect you had on people and how many of them loved you. I respect you alot, and we will be dedicating many good times to you in the future.Rest in peace brother, and let God be with you.

Jeff,
I have just been sitting here still in shock. It was hard to see all of your family and friends so sad. I know that your memory will stay alive for a very long time I think everyone has so many memories of you and we will continue to share them... You know Jeff I can still remember when I really didn't know you all that well and Sam and Chris would be talking about something crazy you had done that weekend and I remember thinking there is no way that they could be serious. Then Chris and I took Bubba over to you to get his first haircut and you probably went through the whole bag of DumDum's. Later in life I was lucky enough to call you my friend and actually get to experiance all of those crazy things you would do and say. It never failed you would make me laugh no matter how mad I was. You have a way about you that none of us will ever forget. I am just sorry that we never got a chance to say good bye.. You will always be with us in memory and in our hearts. So not good bye but see ya soon..

Jeff, you were like my own grandson. I remember you coming to our house in Colorado with David and then your visit here in Vegas last May. I will always cherish the sun glasses you gave me and the many hugs and will miss you so much. We were so excited thinking of your visit this year, to again watch all of my "grandsons" in the pool and on the patio using the grill. With much love, Your Grandma and Papa in Las Vegas

Jeff,
I love you so much and will miss you always. You were more then just a brother to me, you were a good friend. I looked forward to everytime we talked; all of the funny stories about how you bought 10 of these for 2 bucks and sold them for 20. You have so many friends that were there for you this week more then ever, I hope you can see that! I always thought it was amazing that you could meet someone out of the blue and soon they were a good friend. For most of us that takes time but you could do it in a week. Any room you walked into lit up; no one could be in a bad mood around you. You lived a fuller life in these last 24 years then some could ever hope to live.
I am going to miss when we get together and after a few drinks start telling each other that we love each other and will always be there for each other. Its sappy, but you are my brother and I am glad we could be like that.
Last Thursday at friday's meant the world to me. In our usual fashion, we got wasted and started hugging and stuff; I got to tell you I love you brother, and you me. I thank god every day, EVERY DAY, for that. I dont feel like I didn't get to say good-bye because I did.
Your friends are amazing. Everyone loved you so much, and because you were so close to them, some of them would do anything for ME, and I have never saw that before. Sam, Carlos, Evan, Bo, Al, the list goes on. While they saw thier heart goes out to me and mom, mine truly goes out to them, because you were every bit of a brother to them as thier own blood.
I hope everyone can move on and celebrate your memory. Although you can't be replaced, I hope I can spend more time with your friends so I can hear about the the good times.
To all of my bothers friends, thank you. I can only hope that when I go I have half as many good friends as Jeff. Countless people have helped my mom and I tremendously, especially when I left. Its very hard to be at my moms house right now but I know she needs me.
Jeff, good-bye and I love you. I'll see you, dad, and grandpa when I get there!

It seems just like yesterday when I moved here from Kansas. I was so scared-no friends, new school. The first and only person that made me feel comfortable about being in a new place was you. You were so bright and talented. Always hanging out with you and Sam over in C.A.D. class over at Bowman. You will aways have a special place in my heart. I have so many wonderful memories about you. I am blessed to have in my life. You will be missed dearly. May God be with your family.

The times spent with Jeff were some of the best times that I will never forget. Jeff was a great friend and a brilliant artist. He could light up a room when he entered it and get the party started. I will always have good memories of high school times, meeting up with him at parties, and getting one of the best sales pitches told to me. I know heaven better make room for a great man because Jeff is one of the best I had ever known. I will miss all the time we spent together, but I will always have the memories we shared.

Jeff,
My heart hit the floor when I just found out today. I just saw you a couple of months ago and you looked just like you always do with a warm heart, arms open wide and a huge smile for comfort, which what does one say now that your are gone. The thinks that I would have said to you if I only knew that would be the last time I would see you, which would be that I have missed you these past years. I miss all of the jokes and sarcasm. I miss your ability to make anyone happy and laugh until their stomach hurt at any moment in time. I would have to say that you made my life better by just knowing you, so thanks for being you. My heart goes out to you and your family.
