It is with great sadness that the family of Jeffrey Arthur Knowles, of Calgary, AB, announces his passing on Monday, September 28, 2015 at the age of 55 years. Respecting Jeff's wishes, there will be no wake or funeral service. A Private Graveside Service will be planned at a later date, with Interment in the McKellar family Cemetery in Arthurette, NB. Arrangements have been entrusted to FOSTER'S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen's Park Cemetery). Expressions of sympathy may be forwarded to the family via the website www.fostersgardenchapel.ca. My deepest sympathy to the Knowles family for the loss of Jeff. I trained with Jeff in 1988 in the North Pool. He was a straight shooter, it was either black or white, there was no grey area. This is the reason we got along and had a mutual respect for each other. I have always believed God has a sick sense of humor, taking Jeff so young, supports this.
