Jeffrey Lane passed away at the age of 65 on August 17, 2025, in Tucson, AZ. Born on December 3, 1959, Jeff was known for his caring nature, intelligence, and deep love for his family.

Jeff attended Fickett Middle School, Scottsdale High School, and later Scottsdale and Pima Community Colleges, where he honed the skills that would define his career as an electrical engineer specializing in microcomputer building and repair. He also breadboarded guitar amplifiers and built his own wha wha pedals to get that perfect tone.

Throughout his life, Jeff was a beloved figure in his community and family. He is survived by his siblings Richard Lane, Patricia Meyers, John Lane 3rd, Theresa Book, Gloria Holcomb, Deborah McMahon, and Keith Lane. He was preceded in death by his parents, Helen (Kazimack) Lane and John Lane Jr, and his brothers Paul, James, and Brian Lane.

An avid painter, pool player, and guitar enthusiast, Jeff found joy and relaxation in his hobbies, often sharing these passions with friends and family.

In lieu of services, those who wish to honor Jeff's memory can make contributions to the American Cancer Society. Jeff's giving spirit and profound impact on those around him will be remembered and cherished by all who knew him.
