Jeffrey Newcomer Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Dec. 28, 2022.
Jeff was born in Flint, Michigan on August 11, 1953 and lived in Holly, Michigan until he was 16 years old. He moved to Corpus Christi, Texas at 16 and attended King High School. He later attended Harris County College and the University of Houston. While living in Corpus Christi he met the love of his life and his future wife, Judy Stryjak and they married on April 24, 1976. Jeff loved cars and worked at Plaza Lincoln Mercury for 10 years, first as a porter, then as a salesman, and finally as a manager. He learned a lot and was mentored by some wonderful people there. He then worked at Anaheim Industries for 13 years and again worked with excellent people. His final employment was with Commercial Van Interior, he was there for 18 years . He was hired and worked under Steve Kloessner whom he highly regarded and appreciated. While working there, Jeff always enjoyed the time he spent with customers, his staff and his coworkers.

Jeff is survived by his wife Judy; sons Jeffrey of Conroe and his children Thaddeus and Trevor; Jeremy and his wife Janet of North Richland Hills and their son Jasper. He is also survived by sisters Pat and Gina and brother Scott.

Jeff, I look back at all the years we worked together at Plaza Lincoln Mercury, Anaheim Ind., and CVI. I really enjoyed all the times we visited, had lunch, and went to car functions (especially the time we spent at Mr. Burkland's place with you and Judy). Our prayers are with Judy and your family. You will be missed.

Judy, I am so sorry for your loss.
Jeff was an amazing man. Always full of life and never seemed to have a bad day. He was not only a workmate, he was a true friend that really cared.
I could always call him and get a good laugh, no matter how bad of a day I was having he always made me feel better. He will certainly be missed by the entire CVI family. You and your family will be in our thoughts and prayers.

Enjoying the Astros!
Jeff, I will always remember your friendship, sense of humor and kindness! I will miss you and think of you often! May God support you Judy.
Bob & Rhonda Flanders
