PETERSON, Jeffrey Warren March 3, 1946 - June 29, 2008 Jeffrey Warren Peterson, loved by his family and friends passed away suddenly on June 29, 2008 at his home in Edmonton. Jeff was welcomed into the world on March 3, 1946 in Calgary, Alberta by Barbara and Armand Peterson and his big sister, Penny. Jeff was a wonderful son and brother and will be missed by all those who knew him and his great wit, wisdom and warmth. Jeff will always be remembered for his sense of humor, as he would always keep us laughing no matter how gloomy the day seemed. We will be ever grateful for the unity he brought to our family when "Mom" passed away suddenly last year. We can picture the glorious reunion he is having with Dad, Mom and his older sister, Penny, who have prepared the way for him to return to be with them and countless other relatives. Jeff was always active in sports in his younger years, exelling in track and field, basketball and playing football for the Edmonton Wildcats. Jeff also faithfully served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Northern California, Oakland for two years in 1965 through 1967, and touched countless souls by testifying of his belief in Jesus Christ. Jeff had been successful in his real estate career, owning and operating his own investment and brokerage company in and around Edmonton all through his adult years. Missing their big brother will be Jerry (Trish) Peterson, Tim (Linda) Peterson, Bill (Kathy) Peterson and Nanna (Ron) Hamilton, but we are grateful for the opportunity to be counted among the people that can say they knew and loved Jeff Peterson. Until we meet again Jeff...We love you. Interment will be at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, July 7, 2008 at South Haven Cemetery, 5004 Meridian Street, Edmonton. Memorial Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, July 7, 2008 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Bearspaw Chapel, 1203 109 Street, Edmonton.
