Jeff,
You were as close to me as any uncle I have in my life. I will never forget all the childhood and recent memories I have had with you. The times you spoiled Jen, Bobby and I, touring Chicago, my high school graduation celebration, birthday celebrations...i could go on and on. Thank u so much for being the man you were to me and my family. I will never forget you and will miss you greatly!

Love, Meredith

Dear Jeff, I will always cherish my high school memories with you; your infectious, beautiful smile, gentle and kind soul, heartfelt laughter and your incredible talent. From our theatre troupe to Elton John and our laughter-filled nights with the 'gang' by the pool -- you will live on in my heart. You've touched so many lives and I am a better person for having known you. You are loved.

Dear Jeff, I am so sorry I didn't try harder to see you when I found Mary again. We had some wild and wonderful times. I think you were the best roommate I ever had. Your zest for life and your aversion to growing old will remain with me for always. I will never forget you my friend. Love, Jane

Jeff, my fellow "Doo Doo" brother, your life was far too short, but the impact on me and so many others was profound and nothing but positive. I am SO glad I had a chance to catch up with you after so many years of separation from our time at KU. Most of the best memories I have from Shawnee Mission North have you in them. Even though I hadn't seen you for so many years, your departure from this earth has me missing you deeply. Thank you for being my friend, making me laugh, and for making such a difference in my life. I miss you.

I have so many wonderful memories of my friendship with Jeff throughout high school. And, even though we all get so busy with life and sometimes lose touch with even the closest of our friends, the common thread in all my memories of Jeff is the kindness in his smile, the twinkle in his eye, and the pure joy in his laughter. I simply cannot recall a cross word, harsh look, or mean gesture toward anyone, ever, from Jeff. He was, even at that early stage of adult life, a true gentle man. I know that he will be deeply missed by so many. And I am certain that the kindness in his smile, the twinkle in his eye, and the pure joy in his laughter will continue to light the way for all who cared for him, forever. My sincere sympathies, thoughts and prayers are with Jeff and all those who were blessed to share a part of his life.

Jeff you were my best friend for 40 years and you changed my life in ways you will never know. You shaped who I am today and will continue to be. I have no words to express to the Bagcus and Pike family except I loved him well and he loved you and I well to the depths of our souls. Love you Forever Jeff, Mary
