We loved Jeff. Our son, Bo & Jeff were roommates at The U. When Bo tore his MCL, we came out from NY to help but when we flew back home Jeff took care of him. Fed him made sure his ice machine was always filled., kept him company & assured us he would help Bo with needed. Jeff was a caregiver. He had a good heart, a good sense of humor, he was a talented photographer. I am saddened to hear of this wonderful man gone from us too soon. You raised a great Son. I will keep him in my prayers.

I first met Jeff the first week of freshman year of college, along with Calvin, Kyle, and Norman going to a "welcome to college" concert festival. Since then all 5 of us pretty much spent every weekend together, if not most week days. When we moved out of the dorms it was almost every day. Sooo many wonderful pow days at the bird. I´m pretty sure he loved my dog more than I do, which is hard to believe, but she loved him a lot too. Thank you Jeff for all the fond memories of shredding, digging in trampolines, car projects, and living life. I´m going to miss you more than you know. You were, and still are, my closest friend/brother in Slc these last 17 years. Shred in peace brew. I miss you every day.

Dennis and I just heard about Jeffrey´s passing. We are so, so sorry. I remember his handsome face and beautiful smile on Catawba. We are thinking about all of you and wishing you all peace and comfort.

Jeff was an intelligent, passionate, and generous guy. We shared a love of photography and Jeff took time to teach me how to use his large format printer to make my first prints. In that moment, Jeff had made one of my dreams come true. I´ll forever remember Jeff as someone who gave me so much while expecting so little in return. Thank you, Jeff. Rest in peace brother.

My heart is broken. it doesn´t seem right that such a lover of life had it taken away so soon. Give Nana and Gramps hugs for me. May you rest in peace my cousin.

Jeffy!!! My heart broke when I heard the news :( You were one of my first and best friends during freshman year at Utah. Our dorm rooms were on the same floor and I was miserable and homesick and you and Matt took me under your wings. Your humor and tough love helped me through - I can still hear you say "Cheer up Daniel!!!", but you were also a shoulder for me to cry on. I often think of our long drives up the Canyons in the Jeep, with your mixed CDs blasting - from Lil Wayne to The Grits.....I really wish I could have seen you during my last visit to Utah. You were a brilliant mind and a sweet soul that I had the honor of getting to know. Love you Jeffy....
