Jeffrey John Seeley

Jeffrey John Seeley, 49, of Archbald, died Thursday at Moses Taylor Hospital, Scranton, after a brief, couragous battle with cancer. His wife is Terri Laskosky Seeley; they would have celebrated their 24th wedding anniversary May 15.

Jeffrey was born March 12, 1968, in Carbondale, Pa., a son of Jack and Carol (Jubinski) Seeley, of Jermyn. He was a member of Christ the King Parish, Archbald, and was a graduate of Lakeland High School, class of 1986. He was a member of IBEW Local 81, where he was a journeyman electrician and worked for Urban Electric.

Jeffrey is survived by a son, Luke Seeley; a daughter, Paige Seeley, both at home; two sisters, Debbie Piwowarski and husband, Joe; Wendy Cox and husband, Eddie, all of Blakely; a brother, Greg (Pek) Seeley and wife, Nancy, Jefferson Twp.; mother- and father-in-law, Chester and Bettie Laskosky, Archbald; a brother-in-law, Chet Laskosky and wife, Pam, Frammingham, Mass., several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10 a.m. in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 411 Church St., Archbald, with the Rev. Brian Clarke officiating.

Interment in St. John's Cemetery, Jessup.

Friends are invited to call from 8 to 10 at St. Thomas Aquinas Church.
