Jeffrey Smith Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Sep. 18, 2024.
Jeffrey Robert Smith, beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend, passed away on Friday, September 6th, 2024, in Tonto Basin, Arizona. His loss is deeply mourned by his family and the many who knew and loved him. He is survived by his partner, Keli, and his three cherished children, Hailey, Silas, and Colten Smith, stepson Cody and granddaughters Quincy and Brooks Wilson, and Muzzy, his faithful dog, who all feel the profound sorrow of his passing. Jeff also leaves behind his loving parents, Kathleen and Dennis Lowe, and his biological father, Robert Smith (Janice).

Jeff was a caring and loyal brother, who will be loved and missed by his blended family: Kerry Smith (Nate Boone), Jeremy (Erin) Smith, Casey (Kelly) Lowe, DeeDee Lowe (Mark Jacobsen), Denny (Tracey) Lowe, and Daniel (Alison) Lowe. His warmth, sense of humor, and steady presence made him a source of admiration for all. His nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins hold dear memories of the time spent with him, treasuring the moments shared at family gatherings and in quiet, personal moments.

A skilled and passionate outdoorsman, Jeff was known among hunters for his exceptional marksmanship, both with a rifle as well as a bow. His precision in the field was impressive, and he found joy and peace in the wilderness.

His quiet, unspoken faith in his Heavenly Father and his Savior Jesus Christ was a foundation in his development. It helped shape his work ethic, dependability and a strong belief in others.

His expertise in earth-moving and construction projects made him a respected leader in his profession. His ability to organize teams and lead with efficiency earned him admiration and respect.

Jeff leaves an irreplaceable void, but his memory lives on in the hearts of all who knew him. His laughter, kindness, and ability to inspire others to be better will forever be remembered. Though he is gone, his spirit will continue to resonate with those fortunate enough to have shared in his life.

Jeff was preceded in death by his uncles, Mike Smith, Joel Smith, and his cousin Ryan Mollenbrink.

My favorite memory of uncle Jeff was when he had taught me how to hunt fish with a bow. We were camping and at night, we went out fishing when Uncle Jeff taught me how to fish with a bow. Whenever I go fishing, I will think of uncle Jeff.
