What a great man. Met him at WWU, were roommates and our friendship lasted decades. When he was the mayor of Snohomish use to go down and visit.
My condolences go out.

I was extremely saddened to hear this news such a kind, caring, compassionate, intelligent, and funny person. I had Jeff as an athlete and a teaching assistant simply put. They just don´t come any better. Rest in peace my friend.

I worked with Jeff for many years. He was a staunch advocate for the IUOE-always smart, prepared and relentless in his vision for job creation, the welfare of working people, and union strength. He was a colleague of good humor, and always exhibited creativity and consideration. I will miss him, as will the labor movement. My sincere condolences to his family.

Jeff was an outstanding person, friend, lobbyist and loved dearly by his wife and family. Jeff worked for me a bit of time. I was able to connect him with the International Union of Operating Engineers. He was hired immediately. Smart, efficient with his time knowledgeable and of his subject matter and able to explain the legislation, policy and positions to the members throughout the state.
My heart is heavy, and I with a feeling of emptiness.
My Our Lord comfort his family and may Our Lord open the doors for his eternal rest.

I was very sad to learn of Jeff's untimely death, he was a good friend and a great co-worker of mine at the AFL-CIO Working for America Institute in Washington D.C. in the early 2000s. I was hoping to contact him when I learned of his passing. He was a great guy and a great labor leader. He will be missed by all who knew him. Rest in Peace brother.
