Jeff was one of my best friends. I spoke with him Nov 5th. Jeff and I met online in June. We quickly became very close and he visited me in White Sulphur Springs, WV quite frequently. I'm going blind from a rare genetic disease: Stargardt. He was very kind. We laughed so much and I loved him with all my heart, as did my lil dog, Noelle. Jeff smiled a lot, loved comedy, loved laughing. He was a Thai Buddhist and this was very important to him. I wish I could speak to any of his family or friends. There are important things they need to know. He told me he was going to a monetary for 2 months; that's why I never knew he passed away until now. Jeff was love, in every sense of the word. He was kind and gentle. I'll never forget him as long as I live. I'll never stop missing my best friend. He will remain in my heart eternally. I offer my deepest sympathies to his family and friends. As heartbroken as I am, I can't imagine your loss and pain. May God walk with you throughout this. I'm sorry I didn't know sooner. If any of his friends or family would like to, please contact me at [email protected] anytime. Again, my sincerest sympathies to you all. Jeff was one of a kind. He'll always live in my heart.

Jeff was such a gifted therapist. During the most difficult 5 years of my life...I could crawl into the spa and his hands would make me whole again. My heart goes out to his friends and family. He was such a gift!

It's easy and fair to say that I would not be the guy I am today without the impact you and your family had on my life. Very thankful for you, my friend. I hope you are in peace. I will miss you.

My condolences to Jeff's family and friends. He was a wonderful guy and I know he is missed and loved by so many.
Jeff and I worked together at JMU and kept in touch in recent years on Facebook. When we talked, he always shared how much he loved helping people through his work as a massage therapist. He also was such a proud uncle and loved that role in his life. I'm blessed to have been Jeff's friend. May God give you strength, comfort and peace during this difficult time.

I am truly sorry to your family for the loss of a great man. I worked with Jeff for four years and remember fondly his strong work ethic, generosity in regular blood donations, love of technology (loved that iPhone!) kindness to others, and sense of humor...my first day working with Jeff, he played a trick on a coworker by taking apart all the plastic cups we give guests and artistically covering the entire water cooler area with them! Rest in peace, Jeff, and my thoughts and prayers to your family.

" I am so sorry for your loss. I am conviced that nothing can ever separate us from God's love which Christ Jesus our Lord shows us. We can't be separted by death or life, by angel or rulers, by anything in the future, by forces or powers in the world above or in the below, or by anything in creation. I will truly miss Jeff a good friend. I had the pleasure to know and work with Jeff for a number of years...... "Debra Brown (Arrington, VA)

My children and I met Jeff several years ago when we became neighbors. We have many fond memories of Jeff joining our play throughout the seasons....he particularly enjoyed snowball fights. His kind, thoughtful, loving, "kid at heart" spirit will be missed.

I meet Jeff at JMU and we were good friends there and continued to be be good friends after as he was one of my groomsmen. I talked with him at least twice a year and we tried to see each other once a year in person usually my wife and I would stay at Boor's Head. We last saw him in April this year and he was in good spirits and talked fondly of his family/nieces and nephews. He was always a great friend to me and my family and we are very sorry to hear about his passing and will miss him dearly.

Our prayers are with you,

Richard and Amy Thompson
