Jenna Marie Hall went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Oct. 7, 2009. She was 88.
Jenna Marie Hall was born in Tulsa, Okla., on June 27, 1921, to Jackson and Lillie Terrell. She moved to California in 1964 residing in both Bakersfield and Santa Maria prior to moving to Ventura. She and her husband Roy were active members of the First Baptist Church and longtime residents of Ventura since 1967. Jenna lived in Simi Valley in 2005 and then Cedar Park, Texas, the last four months of her life. Jenna worked at PC Foundries, Olivetta Office Machines and Union Oil prior to her retirement in 2003.
Jenna lost her beloved husband, Roy M. Hall, in 1982, and now leaves behind her son Louis R. (Randy) and his wife Judi; granddaughter, Hollianne and her husband Jim Cook and great-grandchildren, Kyle, Jessie, Trey Cook of Simi Valley; her grandson, Terry Hall and his wife, Heather and great-grandchildren, Jenna, Sophie and Katienne Hall of Round Rock, Texas. Her family also includes her sisters-in-law, Evelyn Weddle and Betty Hall and many nieces and nephews.
She was a prayer warrior for her family and friends. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed. "...for in Him we live, and move, and have our being...Acts 17:28"
A time of visitation will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 15, in the Chapel at Charles Carroll Funeral Home, 15 Teloma Dr. Ventura, 93003. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, October 16, at Ivy Lawn Memorial Park, 5400 Valentine Rd. Ventura, 93003. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Beck's Funeral Home in Texas and Charles Carroll Funeral Home in Ventura, 642-8134.
