Kufta, Jennie (nee Chorney) passed away in Stoney Creek, Ontario on September 27, 2011 at the age of 89. Beloved wife of the late Anthony (Tony). Cherished mother to Laura (Larry Mackisoc), Gloria (Rick McIsaac) and Michael. Dearest grandmother of Shelley (John), Mark (Rebecca), Brock (Claire) and Allyson (Dario). Dearest great-grandmother of Isabel, Ian, Erin, Kate, Grace and Noah.Sister of the late Alexandra Harhay, the late Annie Lozyk and the late William Chorney (Nellie), sister-in-law of Elena Doroszko and Alexander (Lenore) Kufta. Will be missed by many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice will be appreciated. Resting at Yves Legate Funeral Home
Sunday, October 2nd from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 3rd at 11:00 a.m. at St. Thomas More Church, 980 Moffat in Verdun, followed by a burial at Lachine Cemetery, Vichnaya Pamiat.

To The Kufta Family :
We were all sad to hear of your Mother`s passing. Growing up with our parents friends only brings a smile to our faces. They had many,many fun time together.THe parties with the Chimbo gang at the 6th Ave Hall were legendary. Our Mom Anne was also at Canvin for a time and it was reassuring that her friend Jennie was there. Please accept our sincerest condolences at this difficult time.

I saw Jennie just two weeks ago she looked so happy, this memory will stay with me forever. She started as one of my Avon clients several years ago, but with time, she became much more. Her great personnality and wonderful sence of humour was all I needed to make my day better. I feel so blessed to have met such a wonderful lady. To the family please accept my deepest sympathies.

My sincerest condolences to all of you who I know are so deeply affected by Jennie's passing. She was a wonderful and caring mom, grandmother and mother-in-law too who welcomed all with a smile. I always remember her with a big smile on her face and a huge plate of food on the table. She will forever have a place in your thoughts and hearts. My thoughts are with you at this sad time.

l am so sorry for your loss. Jennie was an amazing individual. She was a kind and generous person who always put others first. Laura, Gloria and Michael, sorry to hear the news of your Mom's passing. I'll always have fond memories of your Mom when we gathered at Baba Chorney's as children. She was always so nice to me, always had a smile and had a great presence, she will be missed by all, Alan Chorney.
