I am kinda late on this but I heard about it yesterday. Anyways I was a kid at HH and Mrs. Jennifer was strict but very loving. The day I left the home I remember her telling me to volunteer once I am of age and I made a promise that I will always come by I haven't had a chance to but in the next few months or so I plan to make my way up I have made a lot of accomplishments like for instance I am a linebacker for Landrum middle school in 8 the grand and won all-region for linebacker I always had her and the kids in my head because I miss playing football with the boys I left HH on June 3rd, 2019 and my first day there was May 21st, 2018 so I and Mrs. Jennifer spent a whole bunch of time together. This is heartbreaking news and I apologize for being 2 years late but I broke down when I heard she had passed good luck to HH and tell the kids I will be up their in a bit to play football and baseball.

Dear Jean and Family, I am so sorry to read about Jennifer's passing. I was a student worker for you, Jean, at Clemson. My heart is saddened but full of knowledge knowing that there is a home in heaven that is full of sunshine and God's Glory. May his grace rest your hearts with hope knowing you will meet again!

I will always remember Jennifer’s smile and laugh. We had many of those and tears, also, over the twenty-nine years I was at Central. Working with Jennifer to give the best to all in her care was a pleasure for me. Both Jennifer and Jean were the backbone of HH. All who passed through HH received and benefitted from Jennifer’s loving care. She did her best to be a loving, temporary mom to all “her children” and to create a stable environment for the same. I always knew I had Jennifer’s (and Jean’s) support and we fought for the rights of the children. I hope Jennifer, (and Jean) that you knew you had mine as well. At times like this, people always say things like “Remember the good times.” or “She’s in a better place.”. Well, though that may be, right now there is a void in my heart and my tears flow. My prayers are with the entire family. The Lord is with you. Jennifer is with Him. I hope to one day meet her again.

"Jennifer was an awesome lady who loved all her kids individually. After a student left Helping Hands, I was holding back the tears, and I asked her how she does it. She said "honey" I cry every time they leave Helping Hands. I will miss her"

I am so saddened by Jennifer's passing. She not only was my boss but my friend. She taught me so much. She loved Helping Hands children as they were her own. Faith, Braylon, and Jean, you all are in my sincere thoughts and prayers. Rest in peace my friend. It's not goodbye but see you later.

I have worked with Jennifer for many years through the school system. She was such an amazing individual who truly loved and cared for all of the children in her care. She will be deeply missed, but Heaven has a new angel to watch over all of us. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
