Jennifer Berry Obituary
With a heavy heart, we share the passing of Jenny Lea (Hunter) Berry, 12/14/1950 to 02/19/2025. We will always have an enormous void in our hearts with Jenny no longer with us.
She was the beloved wife of Pat Berry, stepmother to Jennifer Peck (Daniel) of Montgomery, IL. and Patrick Berry (Shelly) and grandmother to Gabi and Emma Berry of Utica, IL. She was the sister to Nancy Hunter, Prescott, AZ, Michael Hunter (Judy), Naples, FL, and Bonnie Gosselin (Steve), Castle Rock, CO. She was also Aunt to several nieces & nephews whom she loved dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents, Claudelle and Charles Hunter and her brother, John Hunter.
Jenny took special joy in spending time with her family and brought much joy and laughter to those around her. Jenny changed a room simply by walking into it and smiling.
Jenny was born in Cleveland, OH, and graduated from West Aurora High School in 1969. She worked at Eagle Grocery store for over 30 years and then worked/retired from Earth Mover Credit Union in Aurora, IL.
Jenny enjoyed reading books, watching movies, and taking daily walks with her dog, Jazzmyn. She had such a gentle nature and profound love for animals, always having one by her side.
Most of all, she especially enjoyed spending time with her beloved husband, Pat. The two were inseparable, playing off each other's great sense of humor.
A private memorial service and celebration of life event will be held at a later date. Donations to Pet Project of 2676 E 2575th Rd, Marseilles, IL. 61341 in her name are appreciated.

I was so sad to come across this obituary about Jenny. At one time when she lived near me, I used to cut her beautiful thick hair. Her personality was wonderful. I don´t think I ever saw her not smiling.
Please know how sad I was to read she passed away.
Sending sympathy to her husband and all of her family members. A great gal that will surely be missed. I am so sorry.

Jen and I were conarrators on stage for the readers theater production of Animal Farm in 9th grade at Jefferson Jr. High. When Sally and I came home during breaks from UW Whitewater, we would always hang out with her and Jim Quick. Good times with a fine person who loved to laugh.
