Dearest Susie, Randy, Jill, Alex and wife, Brian and I are so saddened to hear of Jenna's passing. My heart breaks anew every time that I think of your loss. I wish to acknowledge the pain that the grandparents, Aunts, Uncles and cousins are experiencing at this time as well. Please know that you all are in our prayers. May your faith hold you up at this very sad time. I suffer from depression, as well as Jenna did, so I know that she is finally at peace. I'm just so sorry that Jenna's story had to end this way. Jenna, I only got to know you through social media, but there wasn't a post you made that didn't brighten my day. As a person who suffers daily with mental illness struggles who is also vegan, I can say that you gave me so much strength knowing there was somebody else out there like me. I will miss you tremendously, and will be praying for you and your family.

The loss of a child is unbelievable. I hate that you too are now in the club that no one wants to be a member of. Your journey here is your own and there is no right or wrong way to deal with it. May you as you navigate this journey strive to be the people that Jenna has always loved - to the best of your ability. There is a group called The Compassionate Friends that you may one day want to contact or interact with. I honor you and Jenna and the lives you had together.
