Jennifer Chapple Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Apr. 25, 2018.
Jennifer (Jenna) McCarthy Chapple born on June 29, 1987, beloved daughter of Randall and Susan passed away on April 25, 2018. Jenna was born in Georgia, moved to California and grew up in Naperville, IL and attended Neuqua Valley High School. Jenna was a gifted athlete and played tennis, basketball and softball. Jenna moved to CA to pursue a modeling career. After living there for a few years....her passion became to be a voice and bring awareness to mental illness. She was an advocate for animal rights and was a vegan, because of her love of animals. Jenna was happiest being outdoors, going to concerts, and being with animals. Jenna leaves behind a caring family and friends all over the United States. In lieu of flowers please make a donation in Jenna's name to N.A.M.I. so that her dream to make more people see that mental health is a disease becomes a reality. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 4, 2018 from 4 P.M. to 8 P.M. at The Healy Chapel, 370 Division Dr., Sugar Grove, IL 60554.

Dear Susan;
your daughter Jenna was an extremely kind, loving, and joyous person. The world has become a little less bright after the loss of such a caring, and selfless heart. We pray that she is in a better place free of all her sorrow and pain. Our prayers are with you during this loss.

Dearest Susie, Randy, Jill, Alex and wife, Brian and I are so saddened to hear of Jenna's passing. My heart breaks anew every time that I think of your loss. I wish to acknowledge the pain that the grandparents, Aunts, Uncles and cousins are experiencing at this time as well. Please know that you all are in our prayers. May your faith hold you up at this very sad time. I suffer from depression, as well as Jenna did, so I know that she is finally at peace. I'm just so sorry that Jenna's story had to end this way. She gave it the good fight, though, didn't she? The good memories will help you remember Jenna with love and laughter. May God Bless you all. Much Love,
Kim

My sweet, sweet Jenna... You have transitioned to a place without suffering, and it pains my heart. You were strong, passionate and loving in all the ways one can be, yet too delicate for this world. I will see you in again in my dreams and we will eat all the vegan foods your soul desires. I love you. -AD

Jenna, I only got to know you through social media, but there wasn't a post you made that didn't brighten my day. As a person who suffers daily with mental illness struggles who is also vegan, I can say that you gave me so much strength knowing there was somebody else out there like me. I will miss you tremendously, and will be praying for you and your family.

The loss of a child is unbelievable. I hate that you too are now in the club that no one wants to be a member of. Your journey here is your own and there is no right or wrong way to deal with it. May you as you navigate this journey strive to be the people that Jenna has always loved - to the best of your ability. There is a group called The Compassionate Friends that you may one day want to contact or interact with. I honor you and Jenna and the lives you had together.
