Jennifer Jae Grenon

Jennifer Jae Jonson Grenon, 77, of Denver, Colorado passed away peacefully on August 8, 2024.

Jennifer was born in Denver in 1947 to Charles and Janet Johnson and attended South High School. She then attended Colorado State University, where she met Terry Mieger, her first husband and father of her children Jason and Lauren. She married Henri "Hank" Grenon in 1990 and moved to Massachusetts, returning to Denver after his passing in 1997.

She loved ice skating in Washington Park as a child and moved next to the park after returning to Denver. She lived there for almost 25 years, and enjoyed walking through the park practically every day she could.

She enjoyed quilting and sewing and made beautiful pillows patterned after one that she purchased at Bon Marche during a memorable trip to Paris with her children and their spouses to celebrate her 60th birthday.

Jennifer was an avid runner and devoted member of Christ Church Denver. She loved making lasagna for her family for Christmas Eve, taking delight in purchasing all the freshest ingredients. She passed down the recipe to her children who now make lasagna for their Christmas eve dinners.

She is preceded in death by her husbands Terry and Hank and her parents Charlie and Janet, and daughter-in-law, Sheila. She is survived by her children, Jason (Holly) and Lauren (Eric), stepson James (Sarah), their children Emily and Elanor, and her sisters Carol and Gwen.

Services will take place on Saturday, August 24th at 10 AM at Christ Church Denver, with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
