Jennifer Mauldon Holland, 72, of Tuscumbia, Ala., passed away June 29, 2008, after an extended illness.

Visitation was 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, July 1, 2008, at Colbert Memorial Chapel.

Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Wednesday, July 2, in the chapel, with burial to follow in the Holland community cemetery. The Rev. Mike Colston is officiating.

Colbert Memorial Chapel of the Shoals is directing.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James William and Hattie Jewel Patterson Mauldon; brother, Frankie Mauldon; granddaughter, Tia Danielle Elom; and father of her children, Charles W. Holland Jr.

Survivors include a son, Trey Holland and special friend, Velvet Johnson, of Tuscumbia; two daughters, Jennifer Lou (John) Elom, of Tuscumbia, Terrie E. Holland-Olinger (James W. Olinger), of Muscle Shoals; stepdaughters, Kayleen Harrison and Sheila Holland, of Greenhill; brother, Glen (Jean) Mauldon, of Lansing, Mich.; five sisters, Shirley Faye Bouchillon, of Nashville, Tenn., Golena Bratton, of Florence, Inez Gandy, of Central, Earline (Cloyd) Lindsey, of Florence, and special sister and brother-in-law, Rubye Ann (Woody) Fisher; grandchildren, Chastity D. Olinger-Self, of Dallas, Texas, John Elom Jr., of Memphis, Tenn., Jared Elom, of Tuscumbia, Chezley Holland and Barrett Holland, of Muscle Shoals; great-grandchildren, Kelsey Cox, Tucker Self, Emma Self, Ella Self, Darby Self, all of Dallas, Texas; stepgrandchildren, SFC Charles Tingle, Rusty Phillips, Michael Phillips, David Holland, Kristy Parker and Missy Jenkins.

Pallbearers will be Rusty Phillips, Ron Stevens, James Cheek, Shannon Cheek, Chris Mauldon, Michael Gandy, Rodney Lacks and James Owen Bratton.

Mrs. Holland was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or American Cancer Society.

The family would like to express a special thank you to her nurses Amanda, Kim Price and Susan Mosley of Good Samaritan Hospice, Florence, Dr. Loren McCoy, Dr. Kenneth Rose, Dr. David McKinley and Milner-Rushing Pharmacy and staff, to all the family and friends who helped take care of Mom.

Colbert Memorial Chapel of the Shoals is directing.
