Jennifer Ann Hummel, of Belle Isle Florida, passed away on January 26, 2024, at the age of 49. Born on July 11, 1974, in Winter Park, Jenny, as she was affectionately known, was a beacon of light and love to all who knew her.

Jenny's life was defined by her unwavering commitment to her family. She was a devoted wife to her husband, Jared, and a loving mother to her children, Brandon and Lauren. She was the cherished daughter of Karl Shuck and was preceded in death by her mother, Deborah Shuck, as well as her grandparents, Joseph and Ruth Flynn.

Her career was marked by a dedication to excellence, initially serving as an executive assistant in the corporate world before taking time to focus on raising her children. Jenny later returned to the workforce, contributing her talents to the field of Human Resources. Her professional path was one of integrity and compassion, although her journey was shortened by her brave battle with illness.

Jenny's creative spirit shone brightly in her hobbies, which included scrapbooking, cooking, and savoring peaceful moments at the beach. Her ability to capture the essence of family joy in her crafts was a gift that will continue to be treasured by those she leaves behind.

The memory of Jennifer Ann Hummel will be honored in a service held at Newcomer Funeral Home in Winter Park, Florida. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to The American Cancer Society in Jenny's memory.

Jenny's life was a testament to the beauty of dedication, the warmth of humor, and the strength of familial bonds. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who were touched by her gracious spirit.
