Jennifer Lee Lobdell

Jennifer Lee Lobdell was born November 28, 1960, to Evelyn May Baldwin Lobdell and the late Leon William Lobdell in Hornell, New York. Born with Down Syndrome, Jennifer lived happily in her parents' care for over 55 years, passing away peacefully at Meadow Lake Health Care in Tyler on August 28, 2016.

While living in Alfred Station, New York, Jennifer attended school through the Allegany County BOCES (Board of Cooperative Education Services) and graduated from Alfred-Almond Central School in 1982. She participated in many activities including Special Olympics and was a member of Union University Church of Alfred, New York. She moved with her parents to Tyler in 2011 and resided at Meadow Lake Senior Living Community. Wherever she was living, she enjoyed exercise classes, music programs, her ring collections, and hugs and high fives from her many friends and loving family.

She is survived by her devoted mother, Evelyn Lobdell, and family including one brother, Alan Lobdell and wife Beth of Hoschton, Georgia; two sisters, Christine Morawski and husband Andy of Tyler, and Stephanie Landsman of Houston. Also surviving are two uncles, Leonard Baldwin and Marvin Baldwin and wife Mady; and nieces and nephews, Theodore and Terrence Morawski, Michael Lobdell, Melissa Hodges, Katherine Johnson and Joshua and Eli Landsman.

A memorial event celebrating Jennifer's life is planned for Saturday, September 10, 2016, at 2 p.m. at Meadow Lake Senior Living Community in the Laurel Auditorium.
