Jennifer Elizabeth Werner of Lafayette and a former Frankfort resident, died May 1, 2023 at Majestic Care in Lafayette. She was born Dec. 11, 1976, in Clinton County, to Scott Werner and Nancy Louise (Obermiller) Werner.
Jennifer attended Frankfort schools. She had attended First Evangelical Presbyterian Church in the past. She was always known to have a good joke, loved horror movies, her favorite holiday was Halloween, she was very artistic in drawing and painting, enjoyed bowling, and playing pool. When Jennifer was younger, she was involved in Special Olympics.
Surviving are her mother, Nancy L. Werner, of Lafayette; two brothers, Brian Earl (Elke Reichow) Werner, of Santa Cruz, CA, and Scott (Cindy Wilkerson) Werner, of Kokomo; sister: Julie Brashear, of Anderson; step-mother, Jane Werner, of Frankfort; niece, Sheradan (Tyler) Hill Thompson, of Kentland; cousins: Becky (Kent) Unger of Frankfort, Eryn Price of Frankfort, Mathew Price of Frankfort, and Sam Price of Los Angeles, CA; and aunt/uncle, Barry (Marilyn) Price of Frankfort.
She is preceded in death by her father, Scott and grandparents, Abe and Clara Werner and Tom and Betty Obermiller.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 2-4 p.m. Thursday, May 4, at Aster Place (Oasis Room), 741 Park East Blvd., Lafayette. Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort is assisting the family with arrangements. Please visit goodwinfuneral home.com, where you may leave a condolence.
