JEREMY BRINKLEY Obituary
25, of Moon Township, died on April 26, 2012. He was born on March 4, 1987 in Raleigh, NC, the son of Stuart Brinkley and Barbara Geisler. Jeremy was a 2005 graduate of Moon High School where he was on the hockey and soccer teams. He was also involved with the Moon Area Soccer Association (M.A.S.A.), and a member of St. Philip's Church, Moon Twp. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his stepmother, Laura Brinkley; a brother, Ian Brinkley and his fiancée Emma Susick, NC; a sister, Elizabeth Brinkley, Pittsburgh; a stepbrother, Patrick Metzler and his fiancée Rachel Cooney, Coraopolis; maternal grandmother, Ruth Geisler; and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. Jeremy was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Albert Edward Geisler, and paternal grandparents, Ruth and Stuart Robert Brinkley, Jr. There will be no public visitation. The HUNTSMAN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES OF MOON TWP. is in charge of arrangements. Family and friends are invited to a memorial service on Tuesday, May 1, at 10 a.m. in St. Philip's Church, Moon Twp. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to: The Juvenile Diabetes Association, (www.jdrf.org).

Stuart, Barbara and family: I just saw this and was deeply saddened. I remember Jeremy as the little boy who called Elizabeth, sister. My prayers are with you and hoping that you may find peace.

I am so sorry for your loss. I too found my child the same way one and half year ago. Please know you are not alone even though it feels like you are. I will keep you in my prayers. Compassionate friends is a wonderful support group for parents who have lost a child. He is at peace now....unfortunatly we are not.
