Jeremy Michael Irby, 29, of Duncan, OK, formerly of Dyer County, died Wednesday, May 5, 2010, in Duncan, OK. He was an employee of M&M Installation, a US Army veteran serving in Afghanistan where he earned the rank as Specialist. A memorial service will be held Monday, May 17, 2010, at 3:30 p.m. in the chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home in Newbern. Officiating this service will be Bro. Kenneth Westbrook. Visitation will be held on Monday, May 17, 2010, from 2:30 until 3:30 p.m. at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home. Survivors include his former wife, Megan McClain Irby of Duncan, OK, his mother, Teresa Hutching Davis of Bartlett; his father, Jerry Irby of Dyersburg; a son, Hayden Michael Irby of Duncan, OK, a step-sister, Cayla Nichols; a step-brother, Dylan Nichols; his grandparents, Jimmy and Fay Hutching of Dyersburg; his step-grandmother, Debbie Davis of Drummonds; two aunts, Mary Ann Savage and husband, Steve Rasch of Tulsa, OK and Cherry Irby of Newbern; an uncle, Jimmy Hutching Jr., and wife, Cindy, of Dyersburg; a step-aunt, Sylvia Davis of Drummonds, TN; a step-uncle, William Davis of Memphis; two cousins in Dyer County; 5 cousins in Florida; and a cousin in Georgia. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, William and Arah D. Irby and grandfather, Don Davis. The family requests that any memorial be directed to the Hayden Michael Irby Fund c/o the Bank of Bartlett.
