This was just made aware to me and I am so sorry that you are gone. As kids you were one of the first friends I mad when I moved to NC. I will never forget you reciting the inter tale of Alexander and the very bad day. Or when you and Julia did a dance routine to Weird Al's Lucy and Rickey. I spent the night at your house several times and we played football and baseball together. When I was at college at WCU I ran into your dad several times and he tell me what you were doing. God be with you. I will always have found memories of you.

My Dearest Jeremy,
Our GREAT GOD has delivered your gift of legacy to our precious Belinda. Although my tears are of bitter/sweet that you won't be here to enjoy and help her with the upbringing of your child. I know this gift will help her carry on as an added memory of you and I know our God will be there by her side carrying her every step of the way, as the Scripture says there is only one set of footprints because you pick us up and carry us. Jeremy I have great faith that you now know that this is true. I also know our beloved Belinda has all of her family from both sides that love her dearly and are also there to pray for her and help her in every possible way. We will all love and cherish this gift, as it is as special as they come.
We love and miss ya so much! : )

I just read all the entries on here, up to this date… It broke my heart, it is clear to see that no mater where Jeremy went, he made many friends, who truly cared for him. I served in Charlie battery 1/11 with Jeremy. I saw him preform his duties day in and day out while in the Marine Corps in a professional manner. I'm certain Jeremy could have had an excellent career in the Marines, if that is what he had chosen. (I'm sure he just couldn't wait to go back home to you all, his wonderful family) He served his country well, I assure you. He treated everyone around him kindly and with respect, and he had a smile, and deep jolly voice that made me feel happy every time I saw, or heard it. Looking through the many pictures you have here, ( thank you so much for sharing, I really love his profile picture on here too) I can tell he was a wonderful family man. I'm not surprised at all. For me the picture of him at the Charlie battery barracks ,with his truck loaded down with all his, and his fellow marines' gear in the back, took me right back to that moment in time, when all of us Marines were serving together, as usual he was keeping true to his kind ways, and helping those around him as much as he could. I always saw him driving that beautiful truck of his all around Las Pulgas. I am sad to say I have not talked to Jeremy since our time together in the Marines, I have carried the memories of him in my mind though always, I will cherish them as long as I live. My thoughts are with you, his family, in the very sad, crushing time. I really wish this was not so. I wish you all the strength to carry on. May your love and Memories of Jeremy live on forever. Love, Jeremy Davis Sgt, USMC

I consider Jeremy a very close friend and am saddened by our loss. In our work together, Jeremy was always a source of inspiration. He had a unique ability to read people and understand the "unspoken" in order to help meet the needs as well as identify and overcome concerns. He always faced challenges head on. He was always willing and eager to give of himself. We served together on many occasions throughout the community in Arizona. Opportunities ranged from painting the homes of the elderly and homebound to cleaning alleys and streets of distressed neighborhoods. If there was an opportunity to lighten someone's load, you could count on him to be there. Also, I had the privilege of playing on a community softball team with Jeremy. He was always a great sportsman, had a smile on his face and helped all enjoy the game! I will carry these and many other fond memories and attributes with me for the rest of my life. I feel I can truly say I am a better person, because I knew Jeremy Maristany! I hope to be able to teach his strong personality traits to my children so his positive impact on the world can continue.
