Jermaine Roberts Obituary
ROBERTS, Mr. Jermaine-age 29, of Flint, passed away Friday, July 5, 2019 at his residence. Funeral services will be held 11:00am Thursday, July 18, 2019 with a 10:30am family hour at Sheldon T. Banks Funeral Chapel, 3021 S. Dort Hwy., Flint, MI 48507. Pastor Andre L. Williams Sr. officiating. Calling hours are 1:00pm-7:00pm Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at Sheldon T. Banks Funeral Chapel. The final resting place for Mr. Roberts will be Sunset Hills Cemetery, Flint, MI.
Mr. Jermaine "Bruce" Roberts was born August 5, 1989 to Brenda Moore and Alvin Roberts. Jermaine was the light of both their eyes. He was affectionately known to family and friends as "Nut" and "Gee." As a young boy, he loved going fishing with his daddy. He would always say "we're going to have big fun". Jermaine also had a special relationship with him mother. When you saw them together you knew their bond was unbreakable. Jermaine enjoyed hanging out with his family and friends drinking and having a good time. During this time, he met Amanda "Barbie" Ayotte and during this courtship they had a son, Jakill Jermaine Roberts.
Mr. Jermaine Roberts leaves to cherish his memory: son, Jakill Jermaine Roberts; mother of his child, Amanda Ayotte; sisters, Tywana Davis, Lavaytis (Tony) Drake, Ebony Moore, Kandice Moore and Cynthia Wilson; nephews, LeAndre Shelby, Antonio Drake, DeQuavius Moore, Larry Stafford and De'Aer Blanks; nieces, Charlana (John) Henderson, Chayona Drake, Camiyla Moore, Ny'Asjah Stafford, Toniya Johnson and Amyrah Blanks; a host of other relatives and friends including special friends, Jason "Gutta", Louis "Louie", Shaunte, Chance and Fresh.
Jermaine was preceded in death by: parents, Alvin Roberts and Brenda Moore; brother, Yafeu Hart; nephews, Antijuan Moore and Quandrice Shelby.
