Jerome LAUZON Obituary
Passed away peacefully at home January 23, 2012 at the age of 77. Husband of Barbara. Beloved father of Christopher & Jo-Anne, Timothy & Diane, Celeste & Nick Dobric, Patrick & Lori, Victoria & Earl Douglas, Joel & Laura, Jeremy & Mary, Jennifer & Tony Kuharic. Loving Pepé of Melissa, Jason, Christy, Stephanie, Krystyn, Sara, Brooke, Michael, Matthew, Marcus, Lindsey, Kaitlyn, Kyle, Ryan, Carly, Avery, Jackie, Jessica, Taylor, Paige, Clare, Brady, Mitchel, Hannah, Rachael, Alexie. Great-grandfather of nine. Dearest son to the late Leo and Marguerite Lauzon. Big brother to Pauline Nassr, Gerard & Gay Lauzon, Madeline & Tom House, Marie Butler, Elise & Jim Morse, Roseanne & Domenic Owen, Rosaire Lauzon, Roland & Lynne Lauzon, Roger Lauzon, Leo & Clare Lauzon, Jean Pierre & Rose Lauzon, Denise & Dan McGrath, Denis & Debbie Lauzon, Marguerite & Ken Hewer. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Jerome was born and raised in the Riverside area. He started his working career as a volunteer firefighter and graduated to a full-time firefighter at Station 7 Riverside. His duties included firefighting, scuba diving rescue and recovery, scuba instruction. Jerome then joined General Motors Trim Plant where he worked in security, supervision and instructional training until retirement. He is loved and will always be remembered. Visiting Wednesday 3-5pm & 7-9pm, Thursday 2-5pm & 7-9pm. Funeral Service Friday 11:30am at

To the Lauzon family. I was so sorry to hear about Jerome's passing. Please take some comfort in that he passed peacefully and now is reunited with your wonderful Mother and Father. Please accept my deepest sympathies. I will remember him like so many others and that is of course by his sense of humor and the laughter he provided so freely. It is a wonderful gift to be able to bestow laughter on others. RIP Jerome!

My heart felt condolences to the Lauzon Family. Jerry was one of the nicest persons you would ever want to meet. As a security guard, and as a supervisor at the G.M.Trim Plant.
He was always pleasant, smiling, and loving a good joke. I can still hear him laughing. When I was a committeeperson, I truly appreciated his postive approach to often difficult situations. He showed respect for those that he supervised, and they in turn liked, but also respected him.
