Here's to the best father anyone could ask for. He loved me unconditionally and I him. When I think of the many times he was there for me I am overwhelmed. Dad, I will miss you deeply, but your legacy will live forever within me. As promised, your hand signal will be passed down through the generations. I LOVE YOU--ME TOO!

My father at last is at peace with his Lord. He has suffered intermittantly for 25 years and now his suffering is finsihed. But I will not remember him for his suffering but for his GREAT JOY IN LIVING. He never ceased to joke and laugh. HE LOVED LIFE. He loved his Lord and his parish and his many church activities. He loved his family dearly. He loved his many, many friends. He enjoyed being a member of the Knights of Columbus and was proud to have been a past knight of the year and to have our family be family of the year. He loved having company and going to visit. He loved to cook, and until recently, he loved to eat (especially beef, fish, sausages, german-chocolate cake and home-made jam). He loved grocery shopping, watching birds, his trailer home, golfing, fishing, playing cards, buying pull-tabs and scratch offs, berry picking, making things with wood, painting things to make them look fresh, traveling, enjoying a good beer or highball, going out to eat, watching tapes of the three stooges and other older comedy, his Catholic TV station, taking photos and giving copies to his grandkids (they have oodles of photos of people they do not know and garden flowers from who knows where). HE LOVED LIFE. We know that he was growing weary and know that he is now up in heaven with his parents and siblings enjoying the food and drink he no longer enjoyed in life, playing cards, visiting and preparing a place for his loved ones to join him someday. God Bless You daddy - oh how you'll be missed.
