Jerome Starkey Obituary
October 1,1977 to October 22,2022
Jerome was born on October 1,1977 to Catherine and Peter Starkey in Michigamme MI and died unexpectedly at the age of 45 on October 22,2022
He attended Northern Michigan University and graduated with a degree in Electrical Engineering
in 2001. Upon graduating he accepted a position at Plexus where he enjoyed 20 plus years and made many close friends.
In 2002, he married his wife Renee and they began their life in Appleton, WI. They have three children, Madisyn, and twins Jaxson and Tyson. He loved them very much.
Jerome enjoyed golf, his fantasy football league keeping busy and helping others. Recently, he started running and enjoyed participating in his first marathon this year.
Jerome loved his children dearly and watching Madisyn performing on dance teams and seeing her determination in achieving her goals. He really enjoyed being part of the coaching staff for his boys baseball teams and being able to watch their love for the sport grow.
Jerome will be missed by his wife Renee, children Madisyn, Jaxson and Tyson, his father Peter Starkey of Michigamme, MI, his sister Sheri Riley of Kentucky, his father in law and mother in law Jeff and Deb Pietrangelo of Appleton WI, brother-in-law and sister in law Justin and Katie Pietrangelo of Neenah WI, his grandmother Barbara Fishell of Iowa and his Uncle Dennis(Carla) Skytta of Michigamme, MI, Aunt Paula (Larry) Roncaglione of Michigamme, MI. As well as several other relatives and friends.
A special thank you to friends Kevin and Nate and their families as well as so many other family members and friends for all the kindness they have shown us. You have touched our hearts and we are forever grateful.
He is proceeded in death by his mother Catherine, several grandparents, and his Uncle Albert Skytta of Michigamme, MI
There will be a celebration of his life held on November 9th, 2022 from 5-7pm at Verkuilen Funeral Home 101 Canal St, Little Chute WI 54140 In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established to create a college fund for Jerome's children.
