Jerri Page Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jul. 18, 2025.
Jerri Lynn Bearden Page, age 78, of Valley, Alabama, passed away peacefully on July 13, 2025, surrounded by family at her home on Lake Harding.

Born on August 28, 1946, in Bessemer, Alabama, Jerri grew up with a love for animals (mostly horses), laughter, family-and Alabama Crimson Tide football. She never missed watching a game and could be heard cheering "Roll Tide!" from wherever she was.

Jerri lived in Pine Mountain, Georgia; Hoover, Alabama; and Valley, Alabama, carrying her generous spirit and big smile to every community she called home. She devoted much of her career to the veterinary field, pairing a tireless work ethic with a deep compassion for animals-especially her horses, starting with Sugarfoot, her very first. A gift from her Uncle Jim, Sugarfoot came into Jerri's life because she read every horse book she could get her hands on as a young girl. That gift ignited a lifelong passion for horses and reading - two loves that never left her side.

Beyond her professional life, Jerri found joy in horseback riding, tennis, spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandchild, and lovingly caring for her family. She was an avid reader her entire life and passed that love of books down to her children and grandchildren. She loved quiet mornings watching her hummingbirds, tending to the daylily garden she and Jeff so carefully cultivated, and taking boat rides on Lake Harding. Her lifelong girlfriends from high school remained a treasured source of laughter, strength, and connection through every season of life.

Her chocolate-chip cookies inspired playful family "battles," and her laughter filled every room. She was famous for reminding others, "God is bigger than this," and for punctuating stories with "At any rate," - prompting her kids to raise a pretend toast each time.

Jerri worshiped at Church of the Highlands, Auburn East Campus, where her faith was strengthened and shared through service and fellowship.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Jeffrey Page; children Adrienne Page Squillante, Timothy Page, and Keith Page; sister Joan Bearden; grandchildren Bailey Gleaton, Jackson Page, Kole Page, Katey Grace Page, Tyler Page, Kinnon Page, and Lily Page; great-grandchild Grayson Gleaton, a second great grandson on the way; and her faithful dog, Camo. She was preceded in death by many loved ones who now joyfully welcome her home.

A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, July 31, at 11:30 a.m. at Church of the Highlands - Auburn East Campus, 2001 E. Samford Ave. Family and friends are invited to honor Jerri's legacy of laughter, faith, and wholehearted love. To honor her generous spirit, please consider a donation to the charity of your choice in lieu of flowers.
