Jerry Barrs Obituary

He was the son of the late Hessie Watts. Jerry was a diesel mechanic most of his life. He loved working on cars and enjoyed restoring old cars. He loved going fast…whether it was a boat on the lake or driving down the road. He loved deep sea fishing, NASCAR racing, and spending time with his family.
He was married to Nancy for almost 44 years, and they shared a blended family.
In addition to his mother, he is preceded in death by his brothers, David Kanupp and Carl Kanupp, and his grandson, Joshua Ramsey.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Barrs; children, Angie Burch (Tim) of Indian Trail, NC, Teresa Blanton
(Chris) of Clover, SC, Wendy St Germain (Paul) of Charlotte, NC, and David Ramsey of Rock Hill, SC;
grandchildren, Corey Burch, Haley Brown, Dylan Blanton, Dakota Blanton, Cassie Richards, Mackie
Jacobs, and Taylor Ramsey; and nine great-grandchildren.
Special thanks to Levine & Dickson Hospice House.
A private service will be held on Thursday, December 16, 2021, at Bowling Green First Baptist Church,
1683 Highway 321 N, Clover, SC 29710.
