My sympathies and prayers are with the Berkowitz family. I worked with Jerry for a number of years at Hanscom. He was always willing to answer my questions in a way that I could understand, even after I left the Force Protection office. He was a consummate professional, personifying integrity, honesty and excellence in all he did. He will be missed by everyone who knew and worked with him.

Jerry and I worked together at Hanscom for several years--he was a wonderful mentor to me. And, being a Westford resident myself, I appreciate all that he has done for our town as well. My condolances to the family--Jerry will be sorely missed.

I only worked with Jerry for four months before his death, but in that short time his professionalism, expertise and optimism made an indelible impression on me. There was such an outpouring of love and respect from all of his colleagues at the Force Protection Branch at Hanscom AFB. Jerry will be sorely missed.
