Paul W. Kipp

Paul W. Kipp, 86, of Lewistown, passed away December 14, 2018, at Locust Grove Retirement Village. Born December 12, 1932, in Hershey, he was son of Donald and Gladys (Gussler) Kipp. Paul was graduate of Hershey High School Class of 1950 and was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He became a Union Carpenter and was retired from Mid State Construction where he worked for over 40 years, and enjoyed spending time at family events, buying and selling collectibles, loved playing bingo, traveling, and gardening. Surviving are his children, Wesley and Dwight Kipp, Carolyn Baker, Gail Updegrove, Sharon Weaver, and Glenna (Tom) Young; sisters, Mary (Ralph) Weaver and Martha Gesford; 14 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; 9 great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Ida Kipp; and a brother, David Kipp. A funeral will be held Thursday, December 20, 2018, 11:30 am, at Zimmerman-Auer Funeral Home, Inc., 4100 Jonestown Road, Harrisburg, PA 17109. Viewing will be from 10:30-11:30 am at the funeral home. Burial will be at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens following the service. www.pennlive.com/obits
