JERRY R. EVANS (EWANIUK) September 8, 1947 March 2, 2011 Jerry Evans (Ewaniuk) was born in Cudworth Hospital on September 8th 1947 to John and Sophie Ewaniuk. He was predeceased by his father John in 1987. He is survived by his mother Sophie Ewaniuk of Cudworth SK; brothers Roland Ewaniuk (Lassie) of Philadelphia PA, Morris Ewaniuk (Liz) of Invermere BC; partner Bernice Skomar of Cudworth SK; nephew Darren Ewaniuk (Courtney) of Menlo Park CA; niece Debbie Ewaniuk of Vernon BC; great nephew Ryder Ewaniuk of Menlo Park CA. Jerry grew up on the family farm in Cudworth until finishing school and moving to Saskatoon to pursue a career as a Long Haul Driver. With his family connections he remained closely tied to the community of Cudworth. Jerry always stayed in close contact with his family no matter how far apart they were. Jerry will be greatly missed by his family and his closest friend Ray Yuzik (Jan) of Swift Current SK. Jerry will be remembered for his fun loving ways and kindness towards others. A Memorial Service will be held on March 10th 2011, at 11:00 am Windsor Chapel located at 704 Windsor Street & 8th Ave N. in Saskatoon. In lieu of flowers donations are requested to be sent to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 279 3rd Avenue N., Saskatoon, SK S7K 2H8. Jerry.my best friend forever,Jerry we shared some wonderful times together.Every time i think of you i see that smile you always had.I still cant believe you are gone.a couple times this week i wanted to phone you.It will take time to heal.but i will never forget you my friend.One day soon I will have a shot of whiskey for you and me.and lift that glass high.
