Jerry Johnston Obituary
Jerry Allen Johnston, born on December 15, 1934, in Ft. Lupton, Colorado, peacefully passed away on April 21, 2024, in Mesa, Arizona, at the age of 89. He served in the Air Force from 1954 to 1958. Jerry was a beloved husband to the late Delores Johnston and a devoted father to Jean "Worthy" Johnson and Pamela Conley. He is survived by his daughters, sisters Jemalee Adams and Judith Johnston, brother Jim Johnston, sister-in-law Pat Johnston, 7 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.
Jerry was known for his outgoing nature, great smile, and kind demeanor. His welcoming personality and charm made him a huge flirt, endearing him to all who knew him. He will be remembered for his love of bowling and his dedication to his career at Cherry Creek National Bank and the Regional Transportation District when he retired to Arizona in 1999.
In his spare time, Jerry enjoyed spending time with his family, including his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whom he adored. His presence will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
A funeral service to honor Jerry's life will be held at a later date. May his soul rest in peace.
