To my dearest friend Kay, my love and strength will always be with you. I have so many beautiful memories of time spent with you and Jerry. Memories I shall cherish forever. Golf games, old music and dancing at your home, camping, and on and on... I wish we weren't so far apart so I could be there for you when the quiet time comes. Just remember I am only a phone call away. I love you and will always be here for you. Carol

Dear Cousin Kay, Katherine, Tom and family
The fond memories we have are the many visits you and Jerry made to the farm or Jerry and his hunting friends stopping in. Dad would be sitting in his favorite corner at the table and mother would be giving Jerry and his friends a "hard time". I can still see Jerry's loving smile and twinkle in his eyes as he listened and looked at mother. Then it always ended with has hardy laugh.
We love you all and send our deepest sympathies.

When I was about 13 and Jerry 21, he visited our family in Hawaii. I could not believe the handsome sailor in uniform was my uncle and think I've had a crush on him ever since. With a heavy heart I send my love to all of Uncle Jerry's family and especially to Kay, Katherine, Tom, my Mom, and Donna.

Mrs Leake, Katherine and Family:
I was shock to hear Jerry leaving us so soon. I have dealt with him almost 15-18 years. My last met and hug with him was 2008 at our St Albert branch. I won't forget this lovely gentleman who always call me "kiddo" and he told me not to call him Mr Leake but Jerry!
My thoughts are with you all and he will be missed by everyone who had known him for years at HSBC Edmonton Main Branch.
Love,
Jenny So

I was so sorry to hear of the passing of Mr. Leake. I have so many fond memories of Mr. Leake, the most precious to me was my 18th birthday. Mom and Dad threw a grand party for me, and to this day seeing Mr. Leake with that strange drink in his hand only to find out from him that it was Rum and Milk ~ the Rum for your heart and the milk was for your liver!
Whenever I have a drink that is mixed with milk, I always think of Mr. Leake! Life just won't be the same without his wonderful smile and warm demeanor. My thoughts are with you all.

Hi auntie Kay&family. I am so shook up by the news of uncle Jerry leaving us so soon. I am very sorry but I will be out of the country when you have his memorial. My fondest memory is when you guys took me camping. Uncle Jerry brought his canoe and took me trolling for the first time. It was my first time in a lake so I was quite scared. We got maybe 15 feet from shore and I was so freaked I peeded my pants. Uncle Jerry's remedy was for me to jump in the lake so you didn't know what actually happened out there. He just smiled and said we are going to have a great time, and so with that we kept on fishing for the afternoon. I will always remember his calm demener, and his wink he gave from time to time... I love you guys very much and I am so sorry for the loss of a wonderful man(uncle).

Dear Aunt Kay, Katherine,Tom and family, I have so many wonderful memories of Uncle Jerry starting when I was a young girl and the handsome young uncle came through Hawaii en route to Australia with the Navy. My children have memories of him playing with them, being generous with time and 'toys' ATV etc, fishing, and generally feeling loved by him. We love you all, Joanne, Peter and family

Kay and Family, please accept our condolences on the passing of Jerry. His sudden death is tragic and heartbreaking. We’ve been feeling terrible ever since we heard the news. We wish we could undo what happened and bring him back as his funny, wisecracking self. The world is a lesser place without Jerry in it. We miss him.
I wish I had words that could make your pain less. But at least you know my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family as you grieve.
As we have with Mom and Dad, may you find peace with time.
In sympathy
Great times with great friends!
