Awwww I loved Jerry! He bought my home in Atascadero California. He insisted it was exact design he had put on paper. It was his dream! He was the sweetest most gentle man I had ever met. I'm so sad, but pray I will meet him again on the streets of Heaven!

My first memories with my Dad was when we lived in Atascadero. I remember sitting on the boat in the driveway, getting ready to go to the lake. I was about 3. Neil Diamond was a tape we had popped into the deck, playing as everyone was packing to go. I didn´t have to do anything haha!
I remember he installed a seat on his bicycle for me and we would go on long bike rides. My job was to tap the side of his leg when he got too close to the curb.
When I was around 8 or 9, he had an old Ford Pickup. He sat me on his lap and let me steer and learned how to shift the gears. Pushing it down and going into reverse was hard for me, so he did that. My feet couldn´t reach the pedal.
We always had a lot of fun when I was a kid. He taught me to just get things done when you think of it. No reason to plan to change a lightbulb at 8pm when it´s 5pm.
He always ate with his hand on his leg and his elbow pointed out (if on a bar stool) and when he was driving, he had a thumb twitch that I noticed.
We had a lot of good times. R.I.P -Kari

I have too many favorite memories of my dad to count, but one that will forever remain in my heart is when he agreed to walk me down the aisle 27 years ago. I will forever hold this memory close to my heart.
I will forever miss our phone conversations and his random text messages. Who now will keep me challenged with his fascinating spillage of facts about almost anything?

I am so sorry to hear of Dr Perisho's passing. He was one of the people that I missed the most after I left the cafeteria at FMH. I will always remember the friendship that I had with him. RIP Dr Perisho.

I will always remember a nurse calling to ask if I could have Jerry wear jeans or slacks rather than shorts/cut offs to see patients due to how he looked in a lab coat and shorts when he visited patients. It was a hilarious sight to see yet the nurse didn´t mention how loved he was by his patients and when he explained he rode his bike to see them they understood . So much expertise, kindness and personality! I also remember him giving anesthesia to a woman who couldn´t pay her heart surgery bill who made him red crochet slippers and that was enough payment for him. He was very loved especially by all of his children and patients. We wish his wife and his children our heartfelt condolence's.
