Jerry Ruda, age 91, formerly of Chicago, LaGrange Park and Oswego, IL, beloved husband of Irene, nee Frolik; devoted father of Jerome Ruda and Patricia (James) Ruzicka; loving grandfather of James Jr. and Michael Ruzicka, Tracy Ruda, Shelley (Dr. Dean) Jacks and Valerie Ruda; great-grandfather of Josie and Emma Jacks; brother of the late Joseph (Blanche) Ruda; uncle of several nieces and nephews. Funeral Thursday, Nov. 29, 1 p.m. at Svec & Sons Funeral Home, 6227 W. Cermak Rd., Berwyn. Cremation Woodlawn Crematory. Member of Riverside Lodge #862 A.F. & A.M. (Masonic Service Wednesday 8 p.m.). Officer and member of several fraternal organizations. Visitation Wednesday 3 to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Shriners Hospital for Children, 2211 N.
