Jesse Marc Rabinowitz

I think of Jesse more days than not. All I can remember is the way he made me feel. He made me feel like I was okay, and that's a gift he had.

My deepest condolences to the Rabinowitz family. I met Jesse in college, and became closer to him after a visit to New Orleans. He invited me to stay in his apartment for a couple days and our friendship flourished from that point on. Jesse had a thirst for adventure and awoke a similar appetite within me. He will be truly missed.

When I was a Freshman and dabbling in extracurriculars, I met Jesse in Improv and Model UN. He was so welcoming and one of the funniest guys. I always was struck by his sharp wit, eloquence, and charisma. My heart goes out to you for this deep, unimaginable loss. Please stay strong. He and your family are in my prayers.

We are very sad to hear of Jesse's passing. Jesse stayed with us when he first arrived in Homer, Alaska to begin work as a reporter for our local public radio station. His excitement about life was infectious and we enjoyed the time he spent in our home. He loved telling stories, particularly of his time in Dillingham, Alaska, and we loved listening to them. We grew very close to him during a short time, and are rocked by the loss of him.

Jesse was a great friend, always down for an adventure and cheered up those around him. He will be missed. My deepest condolences to his family.

I am so very sorry to hear of Jesse's passing. Jesse was one of my favorite students. When I close my eyes I see his happy 8th grade face in my Social Studies class. I will keep the Rabinowitz family in my prayers.
