My deepest condolences to the Rabinowitz family. I met Jesse in college, and became closer to him after a visit to New Orleans. He invited me to stay in his apartment for a couple days and our friendship flourished from that point on. Jesse had a thirst for adventure and awoke a similar appetite within me. He will be truly missed.

When I was a Freshman and dabbling in extracurriculars, I met Jesse in Improv and Model UN. He was so welcoming and one of the funniest guys. We are very sad to hear of Jesse's passing. Jesse stayed with us when he first arrived in Homer, Alaska to begin work as a reporter for our local public radio station. His excitement about life was infectious and we enjoyed the time he spent in our home. He loved telling stories, particularly of his time in Dillingham, Alaska, and we loved listening to them. We grew very close to him during a short time, and are rocked by the loss of him.
