I just learned of Jesse's passing from a notice in our law school alumni magazine. I was reminded of the time we spent together as law school classmates and DA interns. Jesse was a pleasure to work along- side. Bright, funny, and energetic. My deepest sympathies to his family. He will be missed.

I was shocked and saddened to hear about the loss of such a wonderful person. My prayers are with Jesse’s family. Jesse was passionate about his work, and about helping other people. I am thankful for his help and I will remember him always as someone who supported me when I needed help the most. I appreciate all he has done for me and I know he is looking upon us fondly.

My thoughts and prayers are with your family and friends during this most difficult time. Please know how strong and helpful Jessie was for me during a very stressful time and how blessed we feel to have had his talent and knowledge in the court room on our side. Jessie touched and helped many people, he will be greatly missed.

Michelle, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your loved ones. It came as a shock to me when Lucrisia told me. I will always remember the fun times I spent in Sacramento hanging out with you, Jesse, Noah, and my sister Lucrisia. Jesse's smile and fun nature will be missed. Love you lots, Juana

Jesse reminded us to live life to the fullest, and he did this by example. He was one of my favorite classmates in law school because his comfortable nature was a breath of fresh air among all the stress. He brought laughter and sincerety to our group of legal interns at the Sac. County D.A.'s office. I'm deeply saddened that he's gone, and so sorry that I didn't stay more in touch. His life energy will live on through each of us who take the time to enjoy life, like he did. My sympathy to his parents, wife, and children. You are all in my prayers.

Michelle, I am deeply saddened by Jesse's passing. You and Jesse were there for me during one of the most painful periods of my life. I can never thank you enough for that. I am here for you now and forever. You are near and dear to my heart. Let this photo be an example of the love between you and Jesse. He will be missed. My prayers are with you always.
