Published by Legacy Remembers on Oct. 14, 2010.
Jesse A."Art" Webb, 62, passed away Wednesday, October 13, 2010, at Big Bend Hospice after a battle with bone cancer.

Art was born on November 29, 1947 in Joplin, MO to Mr. & Mrs. James Linton Webb. By age 19, he was a Vietnam War Veteran with a presidential citation and the bronze star. He attended college at OCU in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma where he played basketball. He worked in flooring sales for most of life, which was a perfect fit for him as he loved to talk and meet new people. He had a big heart and was a practical joker! He will be missed by many.

He is survived by his daughters, Ashley Aronson and her husband Jeff of Tallahassee, Shawna Webb of Oklahoma; his sister Gretchen Webb of Arlington, TX; his brother George Webb of California; and five grandchildren, Austyn and Nicholas Aronson, Courtney and Chaleigh Mickle and Tyler Webb.

Memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 24, 2010 at Bradfordville First Baptist Church, South Campus, McMillan Center, 6494 Thomasville Road. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts are requested to be made to Big Bend Hospice of Tallahassee, 1723 Mahan Center Blvd., Tallahassee, FL 32308.

Arrangements are under the direction of Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home, Tallahassee, FL.
