Jessennia Marisol Cruz, 27, of Manasas, VA, passed away suddenly after a prolonged illness. Her family is heartbroken and deeply saddened by the loss of such a beautiful, vibrant and loving member of the family. Jessennia was born on March 26, 1993, to Maria Katherine Tressler and Eugenio Cruz in Manassas VA. Jessennia was an intelligent and loving individual who dedicated her life to her children. She was an advocate for children with special needs, but especially for her daughter who has special needs. Anyone who knew Jessennia, knew that she was a special soul. She had an immense passion for family and tradition and was always a source of light and laughter no matter who she was with because of her remarkable sense of humor. Her family and friends will miss her more than words can say. Jessennia is survived by her father, Eugenio Cruz, her mother, Maria K Tressler, her brother, Brandon E. Cruz, her 2 children, Anali Jessaria Ortiz and Amyl Jeremiahs Ortiz as well as her paternal and maternal grandparents and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. The funeral home will be following CDC and Virginia state mandated Covid-19 measures. Temperatures will be taken at the door, masks are required, and social distancing will be practiced.
