Missing you Jess.... Thoughts, places, images, clothes, bikes, photos, beaches, tennis, hot chocolate, snow, skiing, laughter.... Lots of things regularly remind me of you, you are an inspiration and you continue to make me smile...

I am saddened to learn about Jessica's passing. I only knew her briefly, but that was enough to realize what an amazing person she was. Her sense of humor, her positive attitude and her intellect were the things I remember most about her. I was lucky to have her pass through my life and was able to share with her one of the most spectacular experiences of my life. She will live on in my memories of the summer I spent with all those at the University of London - Goldsmiths. My best thoughts to her family and friends.

I am deeply saddened, I will never again be able to spend time with Jessica. We had a lot of great times together when she was in Alberta. Our adventures in the Rocky Mountains are some of my favourite memories.
My thoughts are now with Jessica's family, especially Jasper and Pascale. My wife Pernille lost her mother at a young age and it has had a profound impact on her life that is still felt decades later. I know Jessica took the time to prepare Jasper and Pascale for her passing, with this and Peter's guidance they are sure to grow into superb beings.
Jessica, thank you for the great times and positive influence you had on my life.

Jessica, all I can say is that you are an inspiration. Your strength and spirit during your battle amazed me. I was so happy to be able to have had dim sum with you an your lovely family. I still remember how happy we all were to have been able to reconnect after so many years. I enjoyed all your photos you shared on Facebook and of course remembered all the great times we had as kids your dad's hard facial pinches that snapped your cheeks, Chinese camp, Chinese school and all. I will always remember your amazing smile. Rest in peace. We all miss you.

Oh Jess . . . today, I just learned of your passing and am so very saddened. What a breath of fresh air you were and how I remember you in my classes at UBC: always inquisitive, wanting to learn, an "I can do this" attitude, the sense of humour and above all, that beautiful, infectious smile. I also remember working with you on the projects we did, how focused you were and how willing (most of the time anyways!) to look at things in different ways. And that's what we all loved about you . . . that enthusiasm, spontaneity, care for others, that 'joi-de-vivre,' . . . in short, that spark. Jess, you were a gem and we will miss you immmensely. Thanks for being part of our lives. Heartfelt condolences to your husband, children, brother & sister, parents, relatives and your many friends.

Hey Jess, there is not one day that goes by that I don't think about you and the great times we shared. All the laughter (& frustrations, too), the struggles of school, the parties to celebrate, the good food, the vintage wines, dancing on the streets of T'dad and as adults, figuring out life with all its challenges. I admire your courage and strength through your 7+ years of battling cancer. I miss you, dear friend.
