Jesus Manuel DeLemos

Jesus (JD) Manuel De Lemos, age 64, passed away on Monday, February 20, 2023. He was preceded in death by his parents Alcibiades and Carmen De Lemos; daughter Vinez DeLemos and brother Francisco (Chico) De Lemos. JD is survived by his brothers Ramon and Pedro De Lemos; daughters Angelica Maria and Jacqueline Renee De Lemos; stepchildren Mark Hampton Jr, Danielle Owsley, Diliah Hampton and Derekka Allen; grandchildren; Shaun Edwards Jr, Cato Mayberry Jr, Dunchie and Angel De Lemosand nieces and nephews; Mercedes, Melissa, Ramon, Natalia, Delmi and Damian De Lemos.

JD was born on December 23, 1958, in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic; the youngest of 4 children to Alcibiades and Carmen. JD spent time between New York and Santo Domingo until 1981, when at the age of 22, he joined the United States Air Force. While stationed at the Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, OH, he met and married Dedra Ham De Lemos, with whom he shares daughters Angelica and Jacqueline. During his life in the United States, JD amassed several small businesses and properties. In 2008, JD returned to the Dominican Republic where he met and married Janette Acosta, his partner until his departure. He is remembered for his devotion to family, an outgoing personality, and his desire to assist those in need.
